Adult Acne Treatments That Don’t Affect Hormones

Hey everyone,

I have adult acne and I’m looking for treatments that won’t affect my hormones.

Many of the treatments I’ve been offered seem to affect hormones, and I’d really like to avoid that if I can. I’m curious what has worked for others, especially topical treatments or anything that works just on the skin instead of throughout the whole body.

I’ve heard about adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid, and salicylic acid, but I’m not sure which ones are worth trying or how to pick between them. I know these are all common acne treatments, but I guess it depends on the type and severity of acne.

If you’ve had adult acne and wanted to avoid hormonal treatments, what worked for you?

I’d really appreciate any personal stories or suggestions I can bring up with my dermatologist.

Do you really need to train your abs to see better definition?

I’ve been thinking about this lately and I’m curious what others think.

Right now, I’m cutting and have been doing a short ab circuit about five times a week for the past month. It’s nothing intense, just planks, crunches, leg raises, and similar exercises, all without any added weight.

What’s confusing is that I haven’t really seen much change in how my abs look. I’m already pretty lean, so I thought I’d see at least a bit more definition by now.

It’s even more confusing because some of my leaner friends hardly train their abs directly. They get most of their core work from squats, deadlifts, rows, presses, and other compound lifts, and their abs look better developed than mine.

So I have a few questions:

* Is bodyweight ab training enough to build visible muscle?
* Does training abs directly make much difference if you’re already lean?
* Are weighted crunches or other progressive exercises more effective?
* Or does ab definition mostly depend on body fat and genetics?

I’m not expecting a six-pack overnight. I just want to know if spending 10 minutes on abs five days a week is actually worth it, or if I’d be better off focusing on other parts of my training.

Has anyone else noticed that weed feels different after a workout?

Hi friends, I've noticed something lately and wonder if it's just me.

If I smoke after a solid workout, the high feels completely different than on a rest day. I feel more relaxed, music sounds better, food tastes amazing, and I sleep well. On days I don't train, it's more of a lazy couch-lock high.

I'm not talking about getting high before lifting; I tried that once, and my workout was terrible. 😅 After training, it feels like the endorphins and weed create a different experience.

Has anyone else felt this way, or is it just in my head? When do you like to smoke if you work out too?

Has anyone tried enclomiphene to boost testosterone?

Has anyone here used enclomiphene to raise testosterone levels as a younger adult?

I'm also wondering if anyone has combined it with Sermorelin or MK-677 for growth hormone support. Did you see any real benefits for testosterone, recovery, body composition, or how you felt overall?

I'd really like to hear about your experiences.

What cycle have you found works best for building strength and muscle quickly?

If you have experience, what has helped you gain strength and size the fastest?

When you see quick early gains, is that mostly real muscle, or is it just water, glycogen, and better neural drive making you look and feel stronger?

From your experience, do stacks with test and compounds like Deca, Mast, or orals give you lasting gains, or are the results mostly temporary unless your training, diet, and PCT or cruise are all on point?
