I’m 32 and I had my knee surgery on Sept 4. About 2-3 weeks ago, I started getting really depressed. That’s not a usual for me and the apathy is crushing. I’ve been off all the post op meds and narcotics for about a week, but it hasn’t helped. The constant pain doesn’t help either. I read that 50% of TKR patients have some level of depression after surgery. Has anyone else experienced this? How did you cope? Thanks in advance.
