🐇Does the Bunny Zarya skin have an open mouth strapped shut? Or, 👁️👄👁️???

Is the cutout design on Zarya's sides shaped to be an open mouth? The top half looks like lips, and the way it curves into the diamond shaped bottom half kinda reinforces that. 👄

Maybe the design was originally a diamond, but it needed to be rounded out to fit? Whhhaaatt, do you think?

Either way, lips or diamond, I think the skin is one of Zarya's better outfits, and it's nice to see her receiving a wardrobe addition. But I would have preferred to unlock these bunny skins in a battle pass rather than buying them.

This mask on Kerillian looks SO pointy!

It looks fierce and very sharp, so sharp it makes me feel as if I'm gonna poke Victor's good eye out with it.

I was browsing the V2 shop and noticed Kerillians Drakira's Grin, Mask of a Naggarothi. The gold plating along the mouth, nose, and rim looks awesome, especially with those big fangs. The shape language of this mask is sleek, curved, and sharp, and it feels intimidating. I could only imagine how intense it would be seeing an elven warrior mowing down the skaven wearing this stabby looking mask.

This skin is for Kerillian's Shade Class, (Video Turnaround) which is probably why the skin details say, "Not the most practical of garb, but you'll linger in folks' memories for a fair old while."

What do you think about this mask?

Can we talk about the design detail on the Bunny Brig skin? (And why the eye patch?)

I think this Brigitte skin looks good! I noticed the design seems to split at the top of Brig's body. On the right side, she is wearing a fabric arm sleeve with white, fluffy fur wrapped around her wrist, and a black eye patch over her right eye.
On her left side, Brig is wearing white armored plating that covers her shoulder and down her entire arm. Her shoulder plating looks like it's a bunny mask, the ones that are worn for masquerades. It's gold-plated, adding a bit of contrast to the white and black.

Maybe the armor choice is because Brig holds her shield in her left hand and her mace in her right. Her left arm would need to be armored, as it is used for shielding, while her right arm needs to be lightweight to swing quickly without snagging.
What do you think?

Speaking of her mace and shield, they both match Brig's crystal-white, gold, and royal-blue theme. The tip of the mace hosts a white bunny tail, and the front of the shield has a gold-plated heart bunny face with ears. It looks clean, and when Brig ults, the white armor and back cape reflect the gold light from her beacon.

Since it's hard to see in just photos, I put together a quick showcase here: Bunny Brigitte Skin Showcase video on YT.

Overall, I like this skin and think it's one of Brig's better skins. BUT, why the eyepatch?

Can we talk about the Scour-Sun Helm Headgear for Markus Kruber?

It caught my eye when browsing in the in-game shop. At first glance, I thought this skin was just a cool design, but after taking a closer look, I got excited about the details and started researching it to better understand the design. I wrote down what I learned and my thoughts on this Golden Skin!

FIRST! (but in no real order) There are 3 Giant White Elegant Feathers that rest on the top of Kruber's head. Feathers were incredibly expensive in the 15th and 16th centuries. Wearing this was a flex of wealth or a high noble rank. Feathers act as a visibility tool for troops to easily spot them during combat. When there is dust and smoke in the air, the crystal white feathers stand out. Each feather's quill is attached to a holding socket, keeping the feather in place, which is a great attention to detail! I appreciate that they modeled a quill holder rather than sticking the feather through another model.

The Golden Sun with a Fierce Human Face. The Sun represents power, force, and strength. The face on the sun serves as an "Intimidation Factor". Giving the vibe of " I will burn you down." The sun sits above Kruber's head, acting as a "god"/source of power. Looking even closer, there looks to be flames surrounding the face of the sun.

Metals and Their Importance GOLD! Gold is often associated with the celestials. For starters, being made of gold makes it incorruptible (It Never Decays). Unlike iron or steel, which rusts, pits, and decays on the battlefield, gold is chemically inert. It doesn't tarnish, corrode, or break down over time. To the medieval mind, something that never decays belongs to the realm of the gods. Therefore, making the skull helmet out of gold symbolizes immortality.

The "Cupid-Like" Crown (Actually a Laurel Wreath) is made of silver/steel. At first, I thought the wreath around Kuber's head was a reference to Cupid. BUT! It actually seems to be inspired by a Roman Laurel Wreath. It's worn for a few reasons, but this one could be to show they had achieved the pinnacle of military glory or a high honor in battle. In the Material World: Silver and steel represent the physical world and human craftsmanship. It is the metal of the battlefield. Usually, triumph wreaths are gold. By making it silver/steel, it anchors the warrior’s victory to the physical earth.

The mark at the top of Kruber's head appears to be a symbol of the Sacred Duty and the Crusades. Historically, this specific style of cross was famously worn by the Knights Templar and the Teutonic Knights. This is placed right in the middle of his forehead, acting as a "third eye". A Third Eye can signify that the warrior's mind and mission are dedicated to a higher, holy power. They are fighting a holy war, not just fighting for coin, food, or land.

The Firery Bevor, at first glance, it appears to be falling off the golden skull, but it is placed just below the skull's nose and secured by a harness on the back of Kruber's head. This bevor is made of both silver and gold. The gold host outlines of flames surrounding the outer walls of the steel, pushing into the middle of the face. Almost as if the fire is engulfing the metal.

This design is AWESOME! I loved breaking down the important details and learning a bit more about ancient history, even if it isn't 100% accurate to the game's lore. V2 has INCREDIBLE attention to detail, which feels well thought out and planned. I love exploring them and seeing everything they have to offer.

(Since Posts don't allow photos and videos at the same time, the Skin Showcase Video is here)

Hey, thanks for reading to the end! Are there any character skins that suit your taste? Victor has plenty of unique skins and sometimes has me questioning what the man is thinking when he selects his wardrobe. 😂

Can we talk about the detail on the new Bunny Domina skin?

🐰Domina has a white, fluffy bunny tail, and she wiggles it every few seconds.

I think this skin looks elegant and classy. The shape language in the design is great, Domina feels softer, while her mechanic and cape feel stiff, and almost sharp. This is def thanks to the triangle shape, which is used frequently in her design.
Triangle shape - Cape, side of her pants, tip of her shoes, bottom of her shoes, belt, back of her legs, etc. The color palette for this skin is clean. The crystal-white clothing with off-white fur accents pairs beautifully with the golden accessories she wears alongside it.
To give this skin a bit of contrast, the inside of Domina's cape is a bright royal blue that quickly stands out, framing Domina's figure. The back of her mech holds two blue lanterns, one sits behind each of her shoulders. behind each shoulder.

Since it's hard to see in just photos, I put together a quick showcase here: Bunny Domina Skin Showcase video on YT.

This is one of my favorite skins that has been released for Domina, but, then again, she only has 1 other paid for skin, and then 0 in game skins. (Besides recolors)
This skin was also my favorite out of the bunny bundle in the Overwatch shop. The Zarya skin is a 10/10.

I did buy this skin because I play more Domina than I do Zarya, and I feel I have enough skins for the other characters. I'm also too broke to get more than one. LUL
Is it possible that this Domina skin sold more than the Mercy bunny skin?

I enjoy exploring and admiring the maps inside Vermintide 2. V2 has INCREDIBLE maps that feel well thought out and planned. I love exploring them and seeing everything they have to offer. I'm a game Dev WIP, and a big part of my learning experience is breaking down map designs to understand what makes a level engaging, fun, and replayable.

I frequently share these videos and have my collection in a playlist.

Scholar's Lantern Helm | Warhammer Vermintide 2 | Pyromancer | Sienna Fuegonasus

Scholar's Lantern Helm - "Headgear favored by Bright Wizards who like to see where they're going, and be seen in return."

I was scrolling through the shop in Vermintide 2, and came across this beauty of a hat. There is something about having a giant lantern stacked on top of your head that makes me laugh.
Its purpose is convenient, though, freeing up both hands for combat. 😂
I'm almost certain this skin doesn't illuminate in the darkness to light up the path during cave missions. But I still think it's a great design.
