These are the cadets that make ROTC look bad, if you agree then get in the comments.

Original post

So I’m an active duty service member, and here I am trying to spread awareness about a disgusting ROTC unit that I was part of in high school and get good advice for how to report the instructors, and here comes an ignorant cadet that thinks they outrank actual service members. I would like to thank everybody else who gave me really good advice on how to go about my situation, I am very thankful and appreciative of the support and advice that you all have given me and you all are exemplary examples of good ROTC cadets, but then there’s ignorant cadets like these that come along and shitbag and make all of you and your instructors look bad. This is disgusting behavior, y’all please get your cadet, because apparently they don’t know how to behave and wanna flash authority that they haven’t earned and don’t even have to begin with on actual service members. This is absolutely disgusting behavior from a cadet, if you agree, then do give feedback in the comments. I don’t support straight up bullying necessarily, but I do very well agree with teaching a lesson and giving constructive criticism, even if it’s not worded in the nicest way, because sometimes people need to learn the truth even if it’s given to them harshly.

JROTC is a authoritarian cult!

Don’t let this post’s title mislead you, I’m not talking about JROTC as a whole. However, I’ve graduated high school the school year before this school year and I was in AFJROTC for those four years, I along with many others weren’t treated well by our instructors though so unfortunately I didn’t have a very good experience. The unit I was with was NJ-932, and don’t let their cool unit emblem deceive you. This unit has done many messed up things to people. These issues still have gone unresolved. These issues have been going on for years and yet as far as I can tell it is either constantly done behind high school administrations back or high school administration does nothing about it, the Washington Township High School’s AFJROTC program (NJ-932) for years now has had issues with student mistreatment and as a prior cadet from that program, I have been there four years and it’s always been the same issues. I’m not going to provide names of students. These are problems that I wish I’ve addressed when I was a cadet but now I’m graduated from high school and am Active Duty military stationed across the country yet I’m still constantly hearing that the student-on-student harassment issue has continued to prevail and same for unprofessional conduct of the instructors. The SASI has always favorited people and not for reasons such as they’re the only ones that do work, but rather out of obvious sexism or just because they’re a member of a certain family that is part of their booster club that shouldn’t have as been granted way too much authority over the program by the SASI. For example, a prior cadet who was with this family graduated, then the program needed a fill-in teacher to monitor co-curricular activities, multiple others volunteered, even a prior-service USAF veteran, but for some reason the person that I was a student with for two years is now a fill-in teacher for a position they are not at all qualified for. This has resulted in the views of this person that isn’t even graduated from college yet and was only a student 2-3 years ago at the Washington Township High School to be viewed negatively as it is believed that the only reason for this is just to use it as a way to guarantee him a job in teaching. The fact that someone who is more qualified volunteered and was turned down for someone who is the same age as a fourth-year cadet absolutely astonishes me. Meanwhile we have a prior four-year cadet who is now U.S. Army infantry that was treated like garbage by the instructors without reason, from being used as a verbal punching bag, to being denied things purely because he was accused of things by one of the SASI’s favorites, he was treated like absolute trash the entire time there and it is absolutely disgusting. The SASI also doesn’t seem to take their job seriously, there were and I hear that there still is many days that they arrive late and leave very early, another issue with them is they treat their job and the cadets as more of a nuisance, there are many times they aren’t doing anything but then as soon as a cadet tries to ask them something they’ll start acting busy and sometimes even leave or will start ignoring you. There is a certain term within the U.S. military that starts with an “s” and ends with a “g” and this type of behavior is ABSOLUTELY unprofessional and disgusting from a retired Lieutenant Colonel and I believe misrepresents the mission and intent of the U.S. Air Force. Unfortunately nothing has ever of been done about the harassment of cadets by certain other cadets and this makes it seem as if it is influenced by the ASIs. There are many more examples of misconduct within NJ-932 AFJROTC, there has even been instances of ASIs throwing stuff towards students (items to include such things as chairs) and even ASIs using students as verbal stress balls with verbal mistreatment, but are far to many examples to list in one email. This behavior has always sickened me, I hope that one day the high school administration is held accountable and finally does something about it because this has gone on for WAY too long. The ASIs, especially the SASI has always liked blind loyalists that will sell out anyone including their friends just for a boost in JROTC (it’s literally just JROTC) because the SASI is lazy and makes these cadets do her job for her so that she can slime her way through to an easy pay check and pension. Last I heard from “friends,” they have either stopped talking to me because they sold their soul to the SASI, or they have dropped. All of the people left are loyalist cultists to the SASI and they are a cult that bullies other kids and the SASI has been starting to become disliked amongst other teachers last I heard. I have a friend who was recently bullied really bad by the absolutely sick SASI and her cultist brainwashed cadets. There is no God in this unit.

I made a theoretical insignia for the rank of Field Marshal. While not necessarily a U.S. Army rank, it was held by Douglas MacArthur in the Philippine Army and that is where I got the inspiration from to make this insignia. Douglas MacArthur was a five-star General of the Army within the U.S. Army so that’s where the five silver stars are derived from. Douglas MacArthur wore a custom cap with gold bullion embroidery and was promoted to Field Marshal within the Philippine Army so that he could be made equivalent in rank to British Army Field Marshals, so that’s where the leaf wreath comes from and it is the exact wreath featured on the British Army Field Marshal insignia. This is my theoretical insignia for what the insignia for Douglas MacArthur’s rank of Field Marshal would be for the U.S. Army.

I’m no longer in AFJROTC, but before graduating I was my unit’s CO and I designed this custom Commander Badge that is fully within AFJROTC regulation https://www.airforcewriter.com/Chapter7-Uniform-and-Awards.pdf. This badge is a custom design, as you can see, I have had a couple made (4) and my unit still uses them. Here’s the link for where to order the badge: https://a.co/d/0hKeKeHB. I also included the order details for the badge specifications in the post (upload the first image on this post). On the right shoulder, you are authorized to wear metal tab pins, so the design of this badge features the USAF Commader Badge with an arch behind it that says “CDR” which is the abbreviation for “Commader.”

Got bored so I created a Cadet version of Specialist rank, the design is supposed to represent Cadet Private First Class upside-down (similar to how Specialist represents Private First Class upside-down) and instead of the U.S. coat of arms, I used the U.S. Army ROTC cap device emblem.
