Is this normal? i’ve been studying japanese for 3 months now, started anki a month ago. using kaishin 1.5k deck. been on it consistently, every day for about a month. my retention rate is pretty low though, about 65%. Is this normal for the first month or so?
So i rented a rental car from this ghetto little dealership while i was out in okinawa for vacation. i paid for the first two days ahead of time, then i told them i would be staying 2 days longer so i wanted to extend it to two more days. unfortunately i wasnt able to bring them back their car or pay for the extra 2 days i had the car because i was super late to my flight and almost missed it only by a few minutes. i left the rental car in the airport parking garage and they shortly after went to pick the car up. now they are saying i owe the yen equivalent of 600 usd. Theyre threatening to report me to the disabuse police if i dont pay. What will happen if i just dont pay it? i dont ever really plan on going back to Okinawa.
