Native 5 vs Para 3 / Pm 2

I love the p3 and pm 2. They are great knives and iconic Spyderco's. However, I've always found myself drawn to the N5 as my edc and I think I figured out why. I noticed that without the big thumb choil found on the p3/pm2, my thumb pushes more "into" what I'm cutting, while the geometry of the p3/pm2 is a little better at thrusting and penetrating. I'm doing a crappy job of explaining it but I feel the flat spine on the N5 gives you different leverage and is slightly better at *most* cutting tasks like whittling a stick. What do you guys think?

What was the timeframe for the pm2 tantos at Blade HQ?

I know were all in the same boat on this one. I thought I read that 2-3 weeks after Atlanta Blade Show was the estimated drop timeframe at Blade HQ. Obviously it says "coming soon" on their website. Just wondering if anyone had heard anything or had a guesstimate based on past drops. TIA

CQI for Techno 3

I've had my eye on the Techno 3 for awhile. Unfortunately some of the early reviews were not great. Shabazz really dings the Techno 3 for it's soft detents. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if the Techno went through CQI to iron out those wrinkles? A bad action is a bummer on a $300 knife.

Any first hand experience would be appreciated. Thanks!

CQI for Techno 3 (or Slym)

I don't own any knives from the Italian factory but I've had my eye on the Techno 3 and the Slym for awhile (would prefer the Techno). Unfortunately some of the early reviews were not great. Shabazz really dings the Techno 3 for it's soft detents. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if the Techno went through CQI to iron out these details? A bad action on a knife can really be a deal breaker.

Any first hand experience with either knife would be appreciated. Thanks!

Can someone explain to me why Perkins hit for Sal in the 8th vs SF?

After being almost no-hit, Chourio led off with a single. For some reason Murphy has Perkins (.091 ba) pinch hit for Sal in an obvious bunting situation. Sal is a good bunter and no need for a defensive substitute in the bottom of the 9th (not that that would make sense either). Perkins consinued his miserable season with a pop-up to the catcher trying to bunt a high pitch. Did Sal get hurt or something?

If you had $200 to spend on a Spyderco and you couldn't spend even a dollar more, which model would you buy? Sale prices are fine if they are current
