I really hope we have better story and dialogue for GW3

I just came back to the game after a couple of years, and bought the last two expansions or mini expansions.

I've put literally thousands of hours into GW2, I've loved the game since launch, however after HoT the story took a noticeable dive in quality, as did the dialogue and the way that content was presented.

My biggest pet peeve, that's severely limiting my desire to stay at the moment, is the dialogue.

Holy shit why do the Kodan have such long passages of speaking when they're so fucking slow to deliver their lines? It took literally 45 minutes to be able to do anything in the Janthir expansion because of all the talking.

You know what was great? Those painted cutscenes we had at the launch of GW2. You could read the lines and skip to the next part. Now? no skipping allowed. I set the NPC talking, I do something else on the other monitor and then I swap back to read the dialogue.

This badly needs looking at for GW3. At least Taimi with her gadgets and constant new tech isn't here to solve every problem.

Is there a more accurate automatic weapon when it comes to blind firing than Slingshot?

Want suggestions for a silly build I'm working on.

At the moment the Slingshot seems to be the best on an all red build. You just use all the weapon mods for accuracy and extra magazine size, you're still at 60% chc and 105chd, at least.

It seems to have an inherent boost to blindfire accuracy, beating out weapons that should be much better on paper - likely because of the 60 optimal range stat.

Basically I'm creating a blind-fire build that solves problems in areas that would otherwise be difficult, especially for solo play. In my case, it was trying to beat Coyote on high escalation levels.

So what I found was that Slingshot, which has a high base damage and 60 optimal range (i.e. max optimal range), when coupled with accuracy mods on the weapon, excels in an all red striker build at beating entire missions with only blind firing - so a better result than I was going for.

It can actually kill elites on higher escalation tiers in one magazine while blind firing at up to around 25 metres, which is insane. It appears to be better at this than any other weapon I've tried - Lexington, St Elmos, M1A, Bighorn, Catalyst etc.

Solo escalation since updated drop rates - just me?

I have literally done 50 solo escalations at tier 3 since they updated the drop rates - and I have had 1 drop, and it was from a gear crate before they patched those out.

Is anyone else having such rotten RNG? It feels broken. I got way more before they 'increased' the drop rate.
