Which first bow

I’m between Hoyt enduro, PSE force DS and bowtech ascend. I’ll be doing a ready to hunt set as I’m fine with starting off this way… any general thoughts? I shot the bowtech and Hoyt today and think I liked the Hoyt more.. how much does FPS matter? Unfortunately the shop here doesn’t have all three so I’d have to wander between the two to try them back to back. Enduro is ~150-250 cheaper than the PSE and bowtech respectively in CAD.

Not finding much for used bows up here nor do I have the faith in myself to get a decent one

How old is too old for a used compound?

Have been using a rental Bow since December at my local club, and looking to buy my first compound. Have seen some used bows but most seem to be 5-10 years old. Is a 10 year old flagship worth looking at (like a Bowtech BT-X), or would it be better to look more recent, or actually new? I’m in Canada for reference. $1000 doesn’t go that far!

Would be for hunting but have been doing target at the club for ~13 weeks and would continue next year
