Spirit Mountain Privatization Protest

Copied from Twin Ports DSA, no personal affiliation.

“AFSCME Spirit Mountain workers are fighting to stop the privatization of Duluth’s city-run ski slope, and the potential nullification of their contract. Workers are demanding succession of their existing contract, but the city is balking at that as they work out a deal with a private management firm. See https://www.savespiritmountain.com/ for details and updates.”

Personally I think giving Spirit Mountain up to private hands after years of public investment would be a mistake. The rhetoric that Spirit is a drain on Duluth is just flat out wrong.

If we loose this ski hill, the amount of tourism and jobs lost would be catastrophic for our town.

Anyways, make sure to support your fellow Duluthians!

Finally

Got the humvee stripped down and into the paint booth. Bed linering the interior and going with carbon black exterior.
