I bought the Epson EcoTank 8550 because I wanted to print posters at home, but it's constantly giving me issues. What am I doing wrong?
I’m having constant issues with my Epson EcoTank 8550 when printing borderless 11x17 posters.
- The prints always come out a little misaligned, even when I only put one sheet at a time instead of stacking multiple sheets
- Ink builds up in the borderless sponge/overspray area, which causes that excess ink to get on the back of my paper
In the settings, I have "Thick Paper" turned on. This is a new printer but it's giving me a lot of headaches. Is there a different printer that is better suited for this task? Thank you!
EDIT: I've attached an example of the misalignment. On the bottom of the poster, there is a white line on the left side, and it disappears as it goes to the right:
