We've pushed updates to our Android and iOS apps.
Camera roll sync, background uploads, duplicate detection, and queues have all been improved.
If updating, please logout first, then update. Then log back in.
A Pro subscription is no longer required for automated uploads.
It is still in Beta, and we are actively working on it. If you notice any issues please reach out to us on our website.

Hello everyone - at 11-12pm EST last night our servers were running a routine security update.
One of the main drives got stuck on a log file which locked up the system for approx 12 hours.
We have a notification system in place for when there is any interuption of service which is extremely rare - which itself failed.
A customer called our support line and notified us and we resolved the issue within a few minutes.
This is not related to the recent discussions on lifetime accounts, etc. Nothing was comprimised or damaged. Everything is operational as normal now.
We understand it can be frustrating and worrisome especially given the timing.
This is very dissapointing for us as well.
The issue is solved now and we have no reason to suspect it coming up again.

To clarify, all existing lifetime accounts will continue to operate as they have.
We are not removing them. We are just not going to sell them anymore.
In regards to Lifetime users who want to migrate to FF Business.
Here is an example.
Bob bought 5TB lifetime account 2 years ago. He wants to move to FF Business. He buys the subscription early for $10/month (limited time for lifetime users) and gets 1TB included. Requests his lifetime account be moved over.
For the same base subscription of $10/month, he now has Folder Fort Business with 6TB total. And can keep all 6TB for the lifetime of the subscription.
He then has access to resell the space, use his own logo, domain name, stream video, direct embed, use as a CDN, use FF Connect Pro, and and enjoy the other benefits.
Hopefully this clears things up.
