Counting time abroad when naturalizing

Hoi!

I have a question regarding the time it takes to naturalize when making the request based on your marriage to a Dutch partner. Our situation is as follows:

- I (Dutch citizen) married my husband (Korean citizen) in July 2025 while living in the US and he moved in with me
- We moved to the Netherlands with him on a spousal visa this year in July 2026
- IND says the following on the page regarding Naturalization after 3 years in the Kingdom of the Netherlands: Did you live together outside the Kingdom before the application, married to or as registered partner with the same Dutch partner? You may also count that period.

Does this mean that our year in the US can be counted towards the 3 years that are usually required for naturalization and apply in 2028? If so, what proof would we need to provide? The US doesn't have a registry for people. We had a lease contract together for our apartment and a bank account and some bills in both our names.

Dankjewel!

Family registry

I was wondering about a certain situation. My husband (KR citizen) and I (EU citizen) will be moving to Europe next year. He's planning on getting a European passport through me, and I'm aware this means he'll lose his Korean citizenship and needs to report this. Will this also mean both him and I will be removed from the family registry? If so, what consequences does that have for him legally?

Thank you in advance!

Finally my turn!

BS in Software Engineering, transfered in a bunch of credits and started in December 2025. Was fully convinced I wouldn't make it and even applied for an extension which ended up being unnecessary haha. Landed a job in March because of my program and currently getting certifications that weren't part of my program to add to my cv. I had a great time with WGU and Tina was such a lovely mentor!

Hi there! I just received my task D308 back with the following evaluation notes

"The submission included a storyboard that demonstrated the application's layout. A storyboard demonstrating the application's flow was not observed."

"The submission provided a single screenshot for the APK. Screenshots that demonstrated the creation of the signed APK was not observed."

I provided about 25 labeles screenshots showing the flow of the app and describing how it should be used so I don't understand what else they'd like to see. Could anyone help me out?
