Found an old classic I’d forgotten about in my parents loft

So a bit of backstory, when I was about 10/11 (ish) I played 5 a side with a good footballer from Scarborough. It turned out he was good friends with Jonathan Greening. I asked if he could get me an autograph next time he saw him. Fast forward a few weeks he came back to 5 a side and said he’d gone one better. When they had caught up together in Scarborough he’d asked if he would sign something for me and he ended up driving to his parents and getting me this match worn shirt he’d kept there and signed it for me. The shirt is a beauty especially the flock PL badges and nameset. I thought some of you might like seeing it 👍

Legit check

Got this at a car boot sale. Everything looks legit but the one big red flag I can see is the product code washtag isn’t there. I tried some checks with AI and it contradicted itself numerous times.

The stitching looks good to me (no cross over between letters etc) and the names has wear/ discolouration that would match the age so I don’t think it’s a modern fake.

I can’t get past the missing washtag so wondered if anyone could put me out my misery and tell me if it’s real or not?

I can’t provide more photos or measurements if needed
