Hey, y’all thinking about starting a Legion of the Damned army and need help

I’ve been playing Black Templar for a little over a year now and I have around 2,300 points so I know about what makes a space marine army. My only problem is I don’t know what the LOTD can use on the battlefield. The only thing I’ve seen about them is the kill team that was recently announced. Can they use regular infurnace marines or intercessors? What are the do’s and don’ts for running them and would it be worth trying to make an army?

Something Old, and Something New.

My 2021 emperor’s champion is one of my first mini’s I painted. Over several months of practice and many, many models later, I’m very happy to have owned and painted the original Emperor’s Champion model from 2002!

Praise the almighty Emperor!

Undoubtedly my favorite model I’ve ever painted!

Yes I know the shoulder logo is off center, I’ll fix it tomorrow!

Hello, I need some help

I have a buddy that wants to get into 40 K but due to his situation he only has access to books. He requested something similar to the DND players handbook. As the handbook tells you everything you need to know and how to play the game. To my (limited) knowledge. there isn’t a 40K players handbook. Would it be wild to give him Horus rising? He said he wants a basic understanding of the lore, and an idea of how to play the game. I know that the book won’t give him any information on how to play. But it would explain to him the chaos, some of the factions, and a few other things.
