How do you store and organize projects you made on the SP404 externally so you can start a fresh batch of projects?

I made the mistake of using an SD card with projects on it and the SP blended them with my current projects on the SPs internal hd. I can guess just move them to a drive you won’t use with the SP but the is new to me and I’m looking for pro tips so I don’t mess anything up.

Did my SP combine projects from internal memory and ones backed up on an sd card???

I was using my SP without an sd card and working on some projects. I went to switch projects and it said no sd card. So I grabbed an sd card and put it in. The SP seems to have combined projects backed up on the sd card with a new batch of projects from the SPs internal memory.

What’s going on?
