Hi lovely pangio fans. I have 20 mixed banded pangio with maybe 100 breeding neocaridina shrimp - what's the happy middle ground for temperature?
Currently I have it set to 24 degrees C (~75 degrees F), is this too low? Would 24.5 degrees C (~76 degrees F) be better or am I just overthinking?

Pleased to report since adding 5 more to my original 10 banded pangio they are all coming out and buzzing around the tank a lot more!

It's a 30 gallon heavily planted with neocaridina shrimp and Malaysian trumpet snails - so tempted to add more, but don't want to overstock. What do you think?

Hi noodle fans! I recently added 5 more noodles to bring the total to 15 banded kuhlis in a 30 gallon planted (pictured). Only other occupants are neocaridina and Malaysian trumpet snails.
The new youngsters are out a fair amount as still settling in from arriving Saturday. My question is how do I help them feel safe enough to come out outside of lights out, or is a happy noodle a hidden noodle in this case? After dark they come hunting for food as that's when I feed them.
The lights look a lot brighter on the picture than in reality, I keep the tank fairly dark with the exception of a couple of hours brighter in the afternoon. Lots of ground cover with subwassertang and leaf litter at the back.
