Need help with bills , I start work May 20
Hello there ! I (43f) , reluctantly post this , because of the way others respond , but I am in a desperate way and need some help . We moved from Florida back to Maryland . Baltimore City to be exact. I had a job and rental before we moved. Everything was fine until these last couple of weeks . My car was broken into and needed repairs . I had just given my 2 weeks at my current job because the commute was 3 hours a day . When I had to tell them I couldn't make it into work because of the car they basically told me not to worry about coming back ! Because of the car and then being out of work I can not pay my rent . I contacted my landlord and let her know , so hopefully she will have grace with us . I am a veteran, I've worked everyday of my life since I was 14, minus some time when my daughter was born ( 18 long years ago !!). We have been looking for local help , but with my upcoming job no one will help . There are others in the city with more of a need they tell me , and that is probably true. I'm just hoping maybe to be able to get as much as the rent paid before the end of the month to avoid possible eviction and getting really behind. I've never been in a situation like this and I feel scared and desperate. If you can help I have zelle . If you can't or think this post is stupid , please don't spam it with negative comments . I'm really just trying to stay afloat .
