a former TV weatherman is up $125K on polymarket from 2,646 weather predictions. $23 into $3,438 on seoul temperatures alone. turns out checking the forecast is literally alpha lmao
i.redd.itwhen you're into polymarket but you live with your parents. this is too real lmao
this trader is down $909K on polymarket and just dropped $222K on the cavaliers to win it all back in one game. the desperation is real
this person bet on 46 out of 48 teams to win the world cup. only excluded france and belgium. down $85K but max payout is $4.37M. what is happening
v.redd.it167 trades and ZERO losses. $290K profit. this guy only bets "no" on everything. am i reading this right??
this guy has $44K on microstrategy selling bitcoin AND $819 on jesus coming back before 2027. the portfolio is actually unhinged lmao
someone made $651K in 10 days on polymarket sports markets. brand new wallet from this month. what am i doing wrong lol
just saw that polymarket is adding perpetual futures contracts for crypto and equities. like actual leveraged perps, not just yes/no prediction markets.
isn't this exactly what the CFTC went after them for back in 2024? they settled that whole thing and now they're just... doing it again but bigger? the waitlist is already open apparently.
i get that prediction markets are in a gray area but perp trading feels like they're speedrunning into another regulatory fight. or maybe they figured out the legal structure this time and it's actually fine?
anyone know if this is US-accessible or just international?
so the GPT-5.5 contract on polymarket has been sitting at 80 cents for like a week with zero official word from openai. everyone was calling it insider trading or momentum gambling.
turns out the announcement is apparently coming today. 80% was right the whole time.
kinda kicking myself for not just throwing $500 at it when it was obvious in hindsight. the "insiders" might just be people who actually pay attention to cloud infrastructure signals and API changelogs instead of waiting for sam altman to tweet about it.
anyone else just watching from the sidelines feeling dumb or is it just me?
