I (23f) have a rather complex issue I don’t know where to turn. My father (55m) and mother (52f) were together for about 11 years from 1999 to 2009. As a kid they were civil with each other.

But recently , my father mentioned when my mother told him she was pregnant his first thought was she cheated. He claims that she told him she couldn’t have kids anymore due to some medical complications.

When I asked my mom , she would tell me that. She did date other men but only during the times she and mt dad broke up. Now I’m worried that I might be the product of an affair she had and I’m not his kid.

I want to know the truth but at the same time I don’t as I worry it will change how I see my mom
