Jaguar X Type was underrated

I had one, British Racing Green. Everyone was so aghast that Ford owned Jaguar that they wrote it off. It was great though. The Jaguar styling. Real walnut or maple interior trim. Alpine upgraded audio system. The engine was the AJ30 V6 with the 3.0. Everyone lost their minds because it was a Ford engine. It was a Ford engine, but they contracted the design to Porsche Engineering. About 6-7 second 0-60. It growled like a Porsche when the tach went up. What happened to it? It fell apart because the engine gaskets started leaking oil. Classic Jaguar experience.
