Changing front badge on SVR with Adaptive cruise control

Has anyone changed the front badge on a Fpace SVR with Adaptive cruise control. I want to change the badge from red to black but don't want to damage anything. Any tips would be great

Jaguar X308 suspension sound knocking

Got a Jaguar X308 that has a knocking sound from the rear when driving over rough surfaces.

The A frame bushes, lower shock bushes and upper shock doughnuts are all new. Any idea what it could be?

I can't see anything obvious when prying around the rear suspension.

Jaguar, we'll forgive everything. Just bring back the F-Type.

I lurk and I lurk and I lurk

And I see everyone else’s cool wagons, but I hardly ever have two bikes on my car. Just got home from vacation and figured I’d share these quick snaps I got before the rain hit.

Cheers!

Is it worth an engine rebuild

I haven't had it confirmed yet, but I think the crankshaft in my 2014 3.0 v6 diesel sportbrake has failed catastrophically. The car has done a little over 103,000 and I have loved every minute of driving it. Does anyone think it is worth spending the money on an engine rebuild if that is what is required, or should I save that money and put towards something newer? It looks like it has a market value of around £8000 ( when operational ) these days.

Performance upgrades?

Recently picked up a 2001 xj8 I’m looking to gain a little more horsepower, what companies make some performance parts for these cars?

Mina Gallery

Anyone with experience with these guys? Thinking about the intake filters and/or the intake piping. Pricing seems reasonable, I acknowledge I may lose a few hp but just looking to get some extra noise. The open filters being right under the hood vents is what’s holding me back, would it be more worth it to get the piping and stock air box? Or has anyone tried to 3d print a deflector to mount on the filter wall for the hood vents? Thanks in advance!

Jaguar E Pace vs Jaguar XF for body reliability

Hello!
I am looking to get a 2019-2021 Jaguar E pace or XF
The E pace would be the 300 hp 4 cylinder and the XF would be the supercharged V6.

The mechanical problems are expected to be the same i think.

I prefer the XF but if i pick the E pace it would be for the panoramic roof :)

I was very satisfied with a 4 cylinder bmw X1. So i think both cars will impress me!

My only concern is that i accelerate a bit hard, because i love the adrenaline rush!

Would the body and bushes and suspensions of the E pace allow me to drive it fast and yet stay solid? or should i get the XF?
Is my logic wrong, the E pace would have a stronger body to handle my driving?

Simple example, i love the acceleration from 30 km/h to 120km/h!
From 0 to 55km/h I like reaching there in 2 seconds :)

I accelerate hard, but I respect people and the law!

Which body suits me best?

Jaguar branding

I’ve discovered the world of jaaag in 2021. I was just shopping for cars and did not have a lot of expectations from viewing a 2006 XJL (4.2 NA). Until I set in driver seat. That’s the moment I fell in love with it and realize I won’t walk away without buying her. Mind you I’ve already had Merz W221 S600 so the bar had already been quite high.

I’ve also purchased a 2010 XJL 5.0 NA in 2023 and she has been my daily driver ever since. I’ve genuinely enjoyed the tvo cars. They are special. The interior is amazing. It gives the luxury feel at par with Bentley, and the forms inside look more elegant and thought out than Bentley’s.

I also find jaguars exterior to be well ahead of this time. The XJ model presented in 2009 is still relevant in 2026. Sharpen a few lines, make the curvatures of the rear arcs more aggressive, some new optics, and you would never tell this is not 2026 design.

The reliability is somewhat of an issue I’m buying that, but that’s the consequence of where I’m heading with it, not the cause.

So here’s the question I keep asking myself. Why does such a beautiful and unique brand gets underpositioned properly. It’s really a shame that they can’t get in the same line with Bentley, Aston and other luxury brands cause it really is an incredible car. Why did I not see Jags product placement in the movies, magazines and silently injected in articles, books, etc to position the car at the altitude it deserves? It would have solved so many issues for the brand and unleash extra profit for better engineering and producing more reliable cars. Really curious what you guys think. Is it the corporate curse of the company and some vicious loop or what is it? Is it the corporate culture where hopelessness and disbelief in becoming the best just flies in the air of the offices, board rooms and plants?

I really wish that gets to change with 01 release. It’s just such a beautiful brand…

Got an SVR

Just got an F Pace SVR! Was amazed when I saw how little miles this had, 2020 with under 19k miles!

Videos don’t do this exhaust justice, had the biggest smiles when I first heard it in person!

I’m worried

Hi everyone.

Just looking at someone who can hopefully put my mind at rest.

I’ve got a noise from the rear right wheel when I’m driving. It’s difficult to describe, it’s like a metallic wop wop sound which increases the faster I go. I only hear it when I have the window open, I can’t hear it in the cabin.

I have had the rear discs and pads replaced on Monday, so I’m hoping it’s just something related to that. The worry I have is it might be the diff, which I had to replace previously (but to be honest that was a lot louder and I could hear that in the cabin).

I’ll get it checked out, but what do you think it could be?

Edit: for reference, it’s an 2015 XF-S V6.

Cheers.
