Where to buy steering column firewall boot??

It is causing a ticking noise and very annoying but part number A210 462 10 96 says it does not fit when I check on websites and says it only fits 2000 and newer W210's (1998 E320 non 4matic) I do not know which part number I need or where to buy from, I have been looking for quite a while now and would appreciate anyone with some information about this or a part they can sell me

Fixable without repainting the whole door?
Had a truck blow up its tire next to me.. my luck
I want to know if I can get this fixed without repainting the door and have it not be completely noticable in the sun (metallic paint) the damage is about is about pinky finger length

What could these noises be?
The first noise from around the valve cover is tied to the rpm but does not change if the car is cold or warm, the second ticking sound that comes from the right side of the engine bay is a bit louder and is not tied to the engine rpms at all, the engine is a 3.2 M112 1998
