Kivo Flieger on engineer bracelet, impressive bang for buck

Few months ago I bought this Kivo Type A flieger with 8215 movement, liked the simple style. Original leather strap was crap, so I changed it to brown leather riveted one which I liked more... But after ordering and mounting this 20mm engineer braceled (screwed pins, superb bracelet quality only downside is the cheapest possible clasp - will be upgraded) the watch feels and looks the best in my opinion. Bracelet adds to wrist presence on my 7.5in wrist, thougt of getting a 42-43mm big pilot but I doubt it would be as comfortable as this one with this bracelet combo. Impressed with watch style and accuracy, build quality is great, runs approx +5 to 10 sec per day. Only downside is poor lume. Considered addiesdive version with their oem bracelet and better lume, but worried 39mm would be small, and I dislike their logo on flieger. Next consideration is Steelflier 43mm big pilot on bracelet (VH31), great lume and 200m WR seems tempting.

Overall cost: Watch 45eur, leather strap 8 eur, bracelet 10 eur... (Also pairs great with my black tropic strap from 62mas mod).

Still new to the hobby. The idea which first got me into watch building were automatic watches and NH35 parts availability, but I jumped on the research train right on the beginning of the steep hill the prices are going up... And since I have more watches in rotation and don't always like the hustle with time (especially date) setting the VH31 was the "most logical" road to go...

Here is my VH31 King Samurai mod, with black enamel "milgauss" dial, skeleton black hour/minute sword hands and silver seconds hand to enoy the "sweep" and complement the steel case which is dominant (would have gone with silver/black/orange combo for seconds but selection for vh31 is terrible). Really like the bold tool/weapon case style of the Samurai, and the finishing on this one with sapphire and ceramic bezel is great.

Enjoyed the overall build, tips from Reddit and YT helped a lot, no sacrifice of seconds hands was made (though I have a pack of 100 :D )

All parts sourced from AliEx, overall build cost about 70Eur + tools (which are gonna se more usage for sure).
