Punjab Man Installs CCTV On Highway, Sends Footage Of Forces' Movement To Pakistan
Baljit Singh from Chakk Dhariwal village, Punjab installed the internet enabled camera near a bridge on National Highway-44, a key route for military supplies to Jammu and Kashmir.
He confessed to setting it up in January on orders from a Dubai contact, earning Rs 40,000 while sending live footage to Pakistan handlers.
Police recovered the device and router, filing charges under the Official Secrets Act against Singh and three accomplices still at large, calling it a major security breakthrough amid similar recent busts.
