It is a policy imbalance, where the system incentivise certain state to prosper from the extraction of another state wealth.

Biharis need to stop falling for this trap.

I am noticing people from across India inviting Biharis to join protests because, according to them, only Biharis can fight the police. This reflects a deeply rooted stereotype that Biharis are inherently violent or are used to violence, so they should be the ones to confront police brutality, stand on the front lines, take the beatings and bear the consequences.

Are Biharis not human? Do they not get injured? Do they not have families?

What's even more hypocritical is that many of these same Indians spend the rest of the year abusing Biharis, discriminating against them, dehumanizing them, mocking them with stereotypes and spreading hate. But the moment they need someone to face the police, suddenly they remember Biharis.

Don't mistake exploitation for respect.

Biharis, don't become cannon fodder for people who insult you, dehumanize you, spread stereotypes about you, and troll you. Don't be so naive and gullible that you mistake being used for being valued. If someone only remembers you when they need a fight, you're not their ally you are simply a disposable

This does not mean I am against peaceful protest. Peaceful protest is a democratic right. If you choose to protest, do it because you understand the issue, believe in the cause and are acting according to your own conviction not because someone else is inviting you to be the one who turns violent or takes the risks on their behalf.

Support a protest if you believe in the cause. not because someone wants you to stand in the front line while they cheer from behind.

There is a clip of Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary where he is presenting the idea that he will establish universities dedicated to specific disciplines such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, architecture. On this, Prashant Kishor said that no such university exists anywhere in the world. Since then, a lot of people have been making memes, trolling Samrat Choudhary, Bihar and Biharis and humiliating them.

But my question is: what is wrong with this idea that he is being trolled not only by outsiders but also by Biharis themselves? How is this idea bad? Establishing single subject institutes or universities could offer massive advantages for scientific progress.

To be clear, personally, I do not like him based on his past track record and several other issues. However, I believe any ideas should be evaluated on their own merits. Trolling someone simply for presenting a new idea is unfair.

At the beginning of the video, he said that a university of mathematics exists in Odisha. This is true in the sense that the Institute of Mathematics and Applications (IMA), located in Odisha is dedicated exclusively to mathematical sciences.

Similarly, there are many institutions around the world that are fully dedicated to mathematics, physics, chemistry, architecture or biology.

I fail to understand why we are so resistant to embracing new ideas and new ways of thinking. Or is it that we have been so brainwashed or we have become so negative in our thinking, that whenever a new idea is presented, even a potentially good one, we start criticizing it instead of asking important questions?

Why should it be done? What is the plan? How much funding has been allocated? At which location will it be established? What outcomes are expected?

or have we become so conditioned that we no longer use our own thinking and instead simply follow whatever is fed to us through memes, reels, social media trends or political narratives?

There is this post claiming that the bridge has been repaired, but that is false and misleading. I see a lot of people believing the title and getting misled.

Right now, only a temporary Bailey bridge has been installed by the Border Roads Organisation. It is an emergency temporary arrangement for a few months, meant only to temporary restore basic connectivity for pedestrians and small vehicles.

For the full repair and strengthening, a new tender has already been issued, and it will take another 6 months for the bridge to be fully repaired.
