Excerpt: A Rajdhani Express was halted temporarily in Assam's Hojai district on Wednesday morning so that a herd of wild elephants could cross the railway track safely.

According to officials, a forest staff member spotted an elephant herd near the railway track in Hawaipur as they tried to cross the track, with the Down Rajdhani Express approaching.

Alert action by the forest staff, the loco-pilot, and the Lumding Railway Control Room ensured the elephant herd crossed the track safely, and the train resumed its journey.

<10 people on the whole coach, and it's practically empty (and got a SL 😋)

This was my first time travelling in 1st AC, and honestly, the experience was pretty interesting

I was travelling with my mother, and when we boarded the train, we found out that we had been allotted a 4-berth cabin. It was actually pretty nice having our own private compartment.

The TT came within an hour after the train started, checked our tickets, and left. After that, he didn't knock again.

One thing I noticed was that there were no chai samosa paani wale bhaiya roaming around like they usually do in other trains.There was a pantry, but we didn't try the food because we had brought our own. Later, I heard the pantry food wasn't that great anyway.

Then came the funniest part.

At night, there was another passenger who had been allotted an entire 4-berth cabin to himself. After some time, the TT knocked on his door. There were actually four TTs together, and they wanted to sleep together in that cabin.

So they asked that passenger to shift to our cabin.

At first, I thought maybe he was some other passenger who had just been assigned to our cabin. Later, he told us what had actually happened — the TTs wanted to sleep together, so they moved him out of his cabin and into ours .

Later, he asked us, "Have you eaten food?"

I said yes.

Then he told us that he had bought some food but ended up throwing it away because it was so bad...

Unfortunately, we didn't have any extra food to give him either.

Overall, the journey was comfortable, quiet, and definitely different from my usual train experiences. The privacy of 1st AC was probably the best part.

But the whole "move this passenger because four TTs want to sleep together" situation was definitely the funniest part of the journey 😂.

I was travelling to Patna in Capital express 3rd ac when some illiterate people I don’t wanna expose who they were I will just tell you they were going for Monday morning thing .
They destroyed and even made the washroom dirtier and they didn’t even had a ticket to show (they were climbing the upper berth infront of me when the other guy told him not to do so in ac then they left and shouted a lot late night)
I complained about it 2 times both time they cleaned the toilet but the 3rd time this happened and I was shocked to see it

Note-I don't have any foot fetish. Visuals only help in, better understanding and connecting with the situation.

The station passengers enters on platform by crossing the tracks, trains enters by taking sharp turn just after a tunnel.

Since a while these incidents have become rampant . Less priority trains getting looped at a station for overtake and these people start shouting , threating LP to move the train . Worse there were few videos where the train that is overtaking is pelted with stones by these idiots. Here,they are literally threating and banging doors of an on duty LP to move and give a laugh after banging as if they have achieved something . If these are people who are gonna be the next generation, this country is doomed for real.

Few days ago I had a post saying how a train left Thane before schedule, a lot of people doubted it, now here's some video evidence

After 2 months of cancellation, the train again resume it's journey with fully new coach. Too comfortable journey. And the WAP 7 entering the station like a King. What a pure goosebumps moment. I think you will enjoy it.

Gorakhpur - Prayagraj Vande Bharat (Train no. 22549) was struck by rocks by vandals in Prayagraj today.

I was sitting in one of the window seats, and the window behind mine was broken through completely.

About 4 windows were broken in total as far I got the updates. This country has too many such incidents happen, and unnecessary time, energy, money and other resources have to be the diverted to such things.

This has been sort of a old dream for me and I finally had the spare money to buy this rather pricey addons. A lot of paid third party addons were required from different creators and on hindsight, it might be considered a waste but I consider it worth it being a lifelong railfan. I do dislike the fact that the scenery is old and the trains do not have any crowd due to technological limitations but still worth it. I hope the kind of money I put into this helps these creators make something for Train Sim World or something.

Does this count as trainspotting?

While I am travelling this man watching reels in full volume and disturbing everyone. After telling him repeatedly that pls low your volume or use headphones... He denied and after some time he reduce the sound just 1% for 5 min then increase it too full volume. Seriously for this reason travelling become worse.

Some uncultured people travelling in train. They think that train is his father property.
