I hold new Job offers for User Researcher at 2 product orgs one in retail and other in healthcare devices. And have an offer for Strategy Consultant at Deloitte. Confused to stay in UX researcher role or transition to Strategy consultant.

There are layoffs happening at User Researcher and UX designer roles at many orgs. PMs are doing UX design and UX research using AI. Does that mean User Researcher role is a sinking ship, is not AI proof. And can strategy consultant at Deloitte be considered as AI proof?

A college classmate works in the same Deloitte team. They told me they wouldn't recommend it for someone who's married because of urgency, pressure to perform, workload, although they usually logs off around 8:30 PM. Contrastingly i stay upto 11 PM in my current org.

Automobile manufacturers deny warrenty for old vehicles using fuels other than what is mentioned in manual. So why not demand the govt to supply E10 and E0 fuels along with E20? Why not build infra for that?
