I've heard KG Hospital has a package for around ₹3.5k

Also, I've noticed that some hospitals run promotional offers on health check-up packages from time to time. If you're aware of any current offers or have had a good experience with a particular hospital, I'd really appreciate your recommendations.

Planning a trip to Munnar next month and I really want to do the whole thing by bus - partly budget, partly because I actually enjoy the ride. Problem is, I've been digging around online for days and there's shockingly little clear info on this specific route. Figured the CBE crowd would know best.

A few things I'm trying to figure out:

• Direct or connecting? Is there a direct bus from Coimbatore to Munnar, or do I have to change somewhere (Pollachi / Udumalpet / Marayoor)?
• Which bus stand? Should I head to Ukkadam, Gandhipuram, or Town for Kerala-bound buses?
• TNSTC vs KSRTC — which is more reliable / comfortable for this route?
• Journey time — roughly how many hours does it take door to door?
• Best time to start — early morning vs overnight? Want to catch the ghat views if possible.
• Booking — anything I can book online in advance, or is it turn-up-and-go at the counter?
• Scenery — heard the Marayoor / Chinnar stretch is stunning. Anything I shouldn't miss on the way?

Bonus points for return-journey tips and how early the buses tend to fill up.

I am 32F born in Ondiputhur and I live abroad currently, I don't have Indian citizenship but I have a lifetime visa. I have around 3cr INR net worth here and a paid off house in Ondiputhur where my parents stay. No siblings. I don't have any other savings in India and I don't think my parents have any savings either. I have an amazing corporate job but I don't have the will to do anything in my life. My husband recently passed away and I have been shut off since. No kids, so it will be me and my parents who are 60+ yo. Realistically can I survive in Ondiputhur with 3cr, paid off house and no income? My mother (52F) recently underwent a routine health checkup. Her Treadmill Test (TMT) came back positive for inducible ischaemia.

The consulting doctor has advised an immediate angiogram and a stent if required. We are a bit anxious about jumping straight into an invasive procedure and are looking for some local guidance.

For any doctors or medical professionals in the sub, here are the brief stats:

- TMT Protocol: BRUCE. Exercise Time: 4:01 mins

- Workload: 5.4 METs. Max HR: 157 bpm (93% of max predictable)

- ECG: ST depression noted in V6, II, III, aVF (Max depression at 3:38).

- Observations: Patient felt "uncomfortable" during the test, but no angina/arrhythmia was noted.

- Spirometry: Showed early small airway obstruction/mild restriction.

My questions for the community:

1. Personal Experiences: Have you or your parents/relatives been in a situation where a TMT came back positive? Did you proceed straight to the angiogram, or did you opt for further non-invasive tests first (like a CT Angio or Stress Echo)? Were there any false positives?

2. Hospital Recommendations: Which are the most trustworthy hospitals or cardiologists in **Coimbatore** for a reliable second opinion and a potential angiogram? We are looking for doctors who are ethical and won't push for unnecessary stenting.

I'm posting this to warn fellow job seekers in Coimbatore about a company called Diraa HR Services.

Here's what happened:

• My Father approached them through Google search in mid-2025 for a job opportunity
• They promised me a Business Analyst role at Zoho in Coimbatore
• They asked me to pay ₹1,00,000 for the placement – which I did
• For almost a year, they gave me fake interview dates, sent generic study materials, and kept saying "process is initiated"
• Every deadline was missed. Every promise was broken
• I never received any official communication from Zoho – no email, no offer letter, no HR contact
• After threatening legal action, they finally refunded my ₹1,00,000
• But I lost over ₹6,000 in travel costs (Erode to Coimbatore and back multiple times) and suffered immense mental stress

Their office location: 2nd Floor 3rd, Jains Apartment, Cambrae Apartment, SK 323, Avinashi Rd, next to SMS Hotel, Peelamedu, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641004.

Red flags to watch for:

• They ask for money upfront for a "guaranteed job"
• They communicate only via WhatsApp, never through official emails
• They promise roles at companies like Zoho but never share any official communication
• They have good reviews, but sort by "Lowest" rating and you'll see hundreds of similar stories

What I've learned:
Zoho does not hire through consultancies. Their recruitment is free and direct. If anyone asks for money to secure a job at Zoho – it's a scam.

I didn't file a police complaint because I was mentally drained after a year of harassment and just relieved to get my money back. But I'm sharing this here so others don't fall for the same trap.

TL;DR: Diraa Services in Coimbatore took ₹1,00,000 from me for a fake Zoho job. Got my money back after a year and legal threats. Stay away. Don't pay for job promises.
