Pungent gas smell every night. Could it be from the open sewage? Anybody here has experienced it in coimbatore?

Hi.. I am from kavundampalayam. Every night there is a pungent smell like gas. And i assume its from the open sewage outside because there are no other options. And when the climate is chill or if its raining the smell is heavy.

Right now its 2.10 am and im smelling it. I am planning to raise a complaint tomorrow. Anybody has experienced this? If yes what did you do about it?

Should I go to the hospital to flushout the medication?

Hi. I am 36 years old Female. 5'4 height and 80kgs.

I have cardiomegaly which the CT scan showed but the cardiologist after taking tests cleared me and that I have nothing to worry.

I am obese. And i have dependent edema since I was 24 years old. I have neuro issues but nothing major. I dont have left ovary. And only a year back had removed a cyst from the right ovary. I have GAD since 2020.

So I woke up with a back pain like at the bottom of the cervical and beginning of the thoracic. Like I was not able to bend. Then I had ibuprofen and myospaz which relived my pain a lot and I am doing better especially after a big burp that i let out.

I had ibuprofen 400 around 11 am.

And after lunch around 2.50pm I took dytor 10mg for my edema which i usually take when i have to travel the next day. I took it in a flow without thinking or without worrying. But then it suddenly striked that i am not supposed to and i went to check on drug interaction and it said that it has significant interaction.

And ofcourse asked AI and it said about acute renal dysfunction this and that. Now I'm worried. Its just one ibuprofen and one dytor. Will it damage my kidneys? Should I go to the hospital to flush it out or something?

I already am checking my HR. And i will monitor my urine output. But my question is is this an emergency or something to panic? Will my kidneys be ok?

I will make sure to hydrate myself. What else should it do?

GST DRC-01 for Non-Filing of GSTR-10 After Business Closure - Can Penalty Be Waived?

I am extremely stressed and would appreciate any guidance from people familiar with GST compliance.

I had a small design/training business from 2017 to 2020. Business was very limited and eventually stopped completely. In 2020, I applied for cancellation of my GST registration and the cancellation was approved. However, I failed to file the final return (GSTR-10) after cancellation.

Recently, I received a DRC-01 show cause notice proposing a penalty of ₹20,000 (₹10,000 CGST + ₹10,000 SGST) for non-filing of GSTR-10.

A few important facts:

• The business had already ceased operations.

• There was no turnover during the relevant period.

• The DRC-01 itself shows turnover as ₹0, tax as ₹0, and interest as ₹0.

• I did not collect any GST and there is no tax liability.

• The non-filing was purely an oversight on my part after business closure and during the COVID period.

• I currently have no income and am in financial difficulty.

I intend to submit a reply accepting the mistake and requesting leniency. My main concern is whether officers ever waive or reduce such penalties in genuine cases involving nil turnover and no tax liability.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? Is there any possibility of getting the penalty waived or reduced based on financial hardship, nil turnover, and the fact that there was no loss of revenue to the government?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

TL;DR: Closed my small design/training business in 2020 and GST registration was cancelled, but I accidentally failed to file GSTR-10 (Final Return). Recently received a DRC-01 proposing a ₹20,000 penalty. The notice itself shows ₹0 turnover, ₹0 tax, and ₹0 interest. There was no business activity, no GST collected, and no tax loss to the government. I currently have no income and am planning to submit a reply requesting waiver or reduction of the penalty. Has anyone successfully obtained relief in a similar situation?
