Train 12082 (Thiruvananthapuram–Kannur Jan Shatabdi Express): Officially rolling out new LHB Non-AC Chair Car coaches with actual pushback seats starting today, October 11, 2026.

Trains 12076 / 12075 (Thiruvananthapuram–Kozhikode): Slated for the same upgrade in the second phase coming soon.

Good riddance to the seats from hell.

Air India crash: Draft final report will be ready by October, AAIB tells Supreme Court

Over a year after the June 2025 Ahmedabad crash that killed 260 people, the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has informed the Supreme Court that its investigation is in the final stages. The AAIB stated it expects to have a "draft final report" ready by October, while simultaneously opposing calls for an independent, court-monitored probe. The Bureau also reiterated that there is an absolute statutory prohibition on publicizing cockpit voice and image recordings to protect the integrity of the safety investigation.

The Worst "Upgrade" Indian Railways Has Ever Made

These seats are an absolute disgrace. The old ICF coaches were miles ahead in comfort. Calling this an upgrade is laughable. If you're making people sit for 10 hours, the bare minimum is a seat that doesn't feel like punishment.

Which obsession you prefer?

I really wished Rick would have come to de-curse Bear from his obsession. The One Wish Willow is definitely something straight out of Needful Things by Mr. Needful.

Did anyone else think of this episode while watching Obsession? I just kept picturing Rick portaling into the room, calling Bear an idiot for falling for a cheap magic trick and building a sci-fi stuff from his Curse Purge Plus! business to break the curse in five seconds flat.

16342 TVC–Guruvayur Intercity Express overshoots Mayyanad station, reverses back to platform

Thiruvananthapuram - Guruvayur Intercity Express (16342) reportedly overshot its scheduled stop at Mayyanad (MYY) recently (yesterday) and had to reverse back to the platform to allow passengers to board and alight.

I have not independently verified the train number or direction; it may be either the Guruvayur-bound or Thiruvananthapuram-bound service and date of incident.
