Hello guys! (I know this is prob the wrong sub but i cant ask in the Henna one)

So i talked to a friend about my sh issues and they suggested that maybe trying to distract myself with doing henna would help, because then i can still "mark" my body and i wouldnt be able to do harm while its drying. And then i got "semi" tattoos that i wouldnt wanna destroy. (I do know that it's just a permanent solution and i am in therapy to work on it)

The thing is that i am white tho and i dont know if the reason i would do it for is disrespectful.

I wouldn't do any of the cultural designs but i am still scared that in some way it could be considered appropriation.
