Soul stones are an infinitely more humane version of servitorization. Aeldari also prove that necromancy is morally good as long as it works reliably and is consequence free.
Both the Aeldari and imperium use semi-dead people in place of AI. One job is just a lot cushier and a lot less painful. When you really break it down, Dreadnought pilots are just unlobotomized space marine servitors, and the wraith constructs are their equivalents, so this is basically confirmed lore.
One may point out that wraith constructs are more like daemon engines, since the constructs contain a ghost rather than a physical body, and I would agree. The problem is that I would also consider most daemon engines to be akin to servitors— trapped people used to replace the function of an ai. The only real differences are in vessel that the soul is housed in, and that Aeldari servitorization is consensual.
I would also consider the Aeldari to be a civilization of necromancers. This is because their civilization collectively uses magic to capture the souls of the dead and prevent them from passing them into the afterlife. This faction is a prime example of why necromancy is ultimately a good thing for humanity, and if it was real it would be the best path forward for all of us.
