The poly u was a temporary fix till I got new replacement logs to prevent a rain driven seam leak..that said...after a few years the acrylic just falls out with light pressure washer pressure...the polu U?? I turned a 4200 psi 3.2 gpm 15 degree jet and counldnt touch it!!! but its expensive and only a few places make it. Its on a 47 year old log home in NYS

Because in 14 years or less white untreated wood becomes ant food!!!Which is why in NYS Treated lumber was required from 1992 on....but this was built 2004=2005!!!
