I am in Paris and I have accommodation through les crous.

I don't speak French and it's hard for me to understand the employees here.

The situation is as follows:
I'm moving out in a few days and in case of damage to the room I have to pay a fine. What is very important to me is whether I can pay for the damage after returning home or do I have to pay on the spot? I would close my bank account today and I would have no time to pay the fine except from home.
