Has anyone successfully gotten permission for more than one pet? I desperately want to get a friend for my cat. My apartment used to be with Connswater Housing Association, but then they merged with Choice Housing and the rules changed and became stricter.. The Choice welcome booklet said they have a strict 1 large pet policy (meaning cats and dogs.)

Does anyone else experience this? Whenever I sleep badly or don't get enough, I become extremely down, depressed and my BPD worsens by a LOT. On these days it's really difficult to be around people because I am insecure and overthink everything more than I already do. It makes sense I suppose, it's hard to think rationally when you don't have energy.
