What content / length ratio works the best for a metroidvania demo in your opinion?
I am currently developing a metroidvania game called The Great Unknown, and making the first area for the demo. I want to showcase the games main mechanics and abilities within a reasonable timeframe without asking too much of the player while their still learning the feel of the game. What do you all think you would enjoy the most if you were reviewing a game like this? Shorter demo with more abilities / mechanics or a longer one where they are spaced out?
