My gray and white bun, Pretzel, has never been very friendly or outgoing. She was a rescue and I’m not sure what her life was like before she was abandoned, but she has never really enjoyed the company of her humans. We recently adopted Portobello to see if having a friend would help her be happier, and we have slowly been bonding them. It has gone better than expected and I think today we have finally turned a corner- I found them snuggling and caught her grooming him for the first time. I’ve never seen her flop over and relax like that, I am so happy for her. I just had to share with people who can be happy with me ❤️
