With his older sister she was very advanced with speaking and getting the potty cues (she stopped bed wetting before 2) but I have no idea how to get baby onto potty training. He will say “pa” which could mean like a million different things, occasionally it means potty where he’ll sit and play on it and then once we get up he pees in the diaper. Is there a trick to helping potty training speech delayed children? I’ve tried just going for it and putting him in underwear and sitting him on the potty often but it just frustrated both of us but that was around 16months and I feel like it’s time to try again.
