Dan Wakefield used to write puff pieces defending the grifters. Now he’s turned on them and his story is less puff and more rough. He recently wrote about their dwindling finances. But what is really interesting is how this article breaks down how the couple was popular due to what is known as cultural heat and how that does not translate to long term interest and opportunity.

What’s also interesting is how the Sussex camp never complained or questioned his inside sources until now. When he wrote fluff they stayed silent regarding the sources. Now that he writes a critical article the Sussex camp claps back and comments on his use of anonymous sources. The Sussex camp is responding often now to criticism regarding the grifters. Christine Ross writes in Marie Claire that palace insiders believe the quasi royal tours are outrageous. But asks us to consider that the grifters need an income, and besides that they TRY to do good in the world. That should justify all their bad behavior. That’s the new PR angle. They just need to make a living, and pretending to be working royals while pocketing cash is to be understood and met without judgement. More PR drivel that attempts to humanize two raging narcissists.

Harry and Meghan need to give it up. Time isn’t running out, it actually ran out. Bonds between victims and victimizers have been broken. Bonds between children and their extended family were never formed. So sorry (not sorry) that the grifters are running out of money with no prospects. But Camilla isn’t a fairy godmother sprinkling pixie dust the mends wounds, King Charles doesn’t have a magic genie who can undo the Harkle damage, and William isn’t hitching his family’s wagon to fire breathing dragons.
