No response to Letrozole following egg retrieval

Hello everyone,

I had my egg retrieval in April and started Letrozole 5mg for a modified natural cycle the cycle immediately after.

I usually respond very well (too well sometimes) to Letrozole 5mg and trigger CD10-11.

Yesterday was CD10, and I had my monitoring appt, and I didn't respond at all to it. No dominant follicle (doctor believes I had a 15mm cyst from the retrieval), and no trilaminar lining (she said it looked like I just finished my period and didn't even measure it).

I am to come back on CD15 and start low-dose stims in case I still don't have a dominant follicle or visible lining.

What does this sound like to you? Reasonable plan?

I mentioned being worried this cycle is not good, but my doctor seems to think there is no reason not to "rescue" it. She assured me we won't proceed unless optimal conditions are met.

Hello everyone!

I just woke up from my retrieval. I don’t know yet how this will go in terms of attrition but need your opinions.

I did a luteal start because I took progesterone but since period didn’t come, my RE told me to start stims on day 13 after stopping progesterone.

I then had a bleeding after starting stims, resembled a period but slightly lighter (bleeding lasted from day 3/4 of stims to day 7/8).

I only stimmed for 8 days. Day of trigger these were my numbers:

- progesterone: 1.26

- estrogen: 1366

- lining: 8 mm (after a usual period my lining is usually more of a 5/6)

RE is keeping me on progesterone (keeping the fresh open) but with a freeze all on the table, even though I feel like the decision of transferring fresh or not would mostly be mine.

Anyone has any experience in a situation like this?

Thanks in advance!
