I'm 17 weeks and struggling with slow digestion.
I've tried so many different ways to get things moving but haven't yet found a consistent routine.
I've been upping my fiber - eatings lots of pears, prunes, kiwis, oats, wholemeal bread, veg
I've been trying out different stool softeners. Lactolose and Movicol give me the worst bloating and gas. Ducoease seems to help a little.
I've been trying to keep active by going on walks but my stomach feels so heavy and bloated, that is a struggle.
I've used the occasional glycerin suppository. These work for the stuff that is already lower down but that's about it.
I've tried taking a pregnancy probiotic but that again just makes me very bloated and gassy and the smell 😳
I'm only taking my iron multivitamin every other day to try and give my gut a break.
What has worked for you?
Edit - forgot to add fluid intake, been trying to drink at least 2l of water a day.
