We have four indoor cats. We had two (both short-hair cats) for several years and cat hair was never been an issue. We added two additional cats (both of siblings) that are long hair cats…just think Maine Coon Cats, Ragdolls, Norwegian Forest Cat, etc.

My wife is allergic if the hair builds up; therefore, I run the vacuum on the carpets and rugs, mop our tile floors, etc. daily. I usually bring in my shop vac to pick up the hair since the vacuum that my wife purchased isn’t that powerful.

Our vacuum stopped working, looking for recommendations for vacuums designed for pets/cats. Thanks.
