Qualified by Salesforce

I’m currently in the interview process for a commercial AE role at Salesforce, specifically on the “Qualified” team.

Does anyone have any insight into the role or the Qualified org?

Would love to get a company like Salesforce on my resume but not sure what it’s like being with a specific business in this structure.

Any insights help!

Prepping for a Technical Interview

I have an interview next week for a cloud/infra AE role.

My prior experience is selling into not technical roles (marketing, insights, sales, consulting etc.) and I want to make sure I’m prepared for the interview. This lack of technical experience will be my current gap which I’m looking to close.

What are some of the best ways to grow my technical knowledge or how can I help effectively prepared for this interview when asked about technical experience?

Transitioning from Non-Technical AE to Technical AE

I've had a successful run over the last 3 years as an AE selling to Sales, Marketing and insights teams. Consistently hitting quota and obtaining presidents club.

Though, lately I've been wanting to transition into a more technical AE role selling infrastructure or developer-focused products. Think Grafana, Snowflake, DataDog etc.

The challenge is that I haven't been able to land interviews with these types of companies.

For those who've made a similar transition, what's the best path in?

I've thought about getting an AWS cert to demonstrate some technical chops, but not sure if that'll move the needle.
