Hi,
Like the title says, I’m upgrading my female cresties tank from an 18x18x24 to an 18x18x36.

For the current set up (the 18x18x24), I use a 60 watt ceramic heat emitter and a temperature controller. Between the 2, the temperature gradient of the tank is consistently near perfect (I also have a UVB hood and plant lights but that’s not super relevant to this question).

Since the new tank is obviously a foot taller, I’m wondering if I should expect to need a higher powered heat bulb.

**TLDR:**

**What are you guys using for your heat bulbs on your 18x18x36 tanks?**

**What wattage/bulbs would you recommend for an 18x18x36 tank?**

(Side note: I’ve had my Crestie for over a year now and still havnt been able to come up with a name for her. This is wayyyy less important than the questions about her new tank but if you see her and think of a name I’d love to hear it)
