Boyfriend broke up with me bc my family rented out our spare room to young man.
I(26) still live with my parents. I have been lucky enough to have their support while I figure out my life and become more financially stable. My boyfriend (25) lives with his family as well. I told my bf that my dad was thinking of renting out our spare room to a worker of his that didn’t have any place to go, a 20yo young man. My boyfriend immediately started getting defensive and just wouldn’t really try talking about what this means for our relationship. He started talking about cheating and how he just wasn’t ok with it and we broke up last night.
I know this is wrong and totally immature of him but I also understand why he is weirded out. Should I try to reason and talk with him or just let this end if he’s being so immature about it?
