Torn Research Is Available at No Cost on the Book's Website

My book, Torn - Why People We Love Are Leaving the Church and What We Can Learn From Them, begins shipping today on Amazon, Barns & Noble, and Bookshop.

Chapters 1 and 2 and the Appendix contain the most important findings from our study on our estimate for how many people have stepped away from the Church and the reasons they cite for doing so. You do not have to buy the book to see that information. It is available at no cost on the website. Also, all of the net proceeds from the book are being donated to charity.
In a few weeks, I will also share the first of several research reports on the website. I will also post a link here so anyone who is interested can see the findings.
For those of you who participated in the survey back in the fall of 2023 and any of the follow-up surveys later, thank you. I have done my best to represent your experiences accurately and honestly.
My hope in doing this is simple. To start a conversation that can contribute to the LDS community becoming better so that more people will be at home and able to grow and our relationships with those who leave will be healthier.
