I’ve been on and off letrozole since 2024, but I wasn’t ovulating at all — even while taking it. In 2025 I honestly stepped back from trying to conceive for a while because nothing was working and it was getting really discouraging.
In February 2026, I started a GLP-1 medication and was on it for about 1 month and 2 weeks. I then took a month break from the GLP-1. After that break, I restarted letrozole again, and for the first time ever, I actually ovulated that cycle. It gave me so much hope and made me feel like maybe my body was finally responding — possibly from the combination of GLP-1 + letrozole.
Now I’m in my current cycle and my PdG is looking pretty low, which has me worried. I know it’s still early and too soon to call it a luteinized unruptured follicle (LUF) or say for sure that I didn’t ovulate, but I can’t help feeling discouraged compared to last cycle.
Has anyone else had letrozole suddenly start working after previously not responding to it? Or noticed changes in ovulation after starting or stopping a GLP-1? I’d really appreciate hearing other experiences, especially from anyone who went from not ovulating at all to eventually getting more consistent ovulation.
