Lipid panel at 305 pounds vs 255 pounds

The before lipid panel was around late 2024, where I was at my worst weight wise at 305 pounds. I honestly thought it was over and that losing would be impossible. Idk what clicked but around September 2025 I started telling myself that this cannot be how my life is and became determined to change. I was sustaining at around 285 pounds but could not move down. Now 6 months later with consistent diet and exercise I am down to 255 pounds. Just wanted to show how much my bloodwork has changed though.

Before (21 years old):

  • Total Cholesterol: 241
  • LDL: 174
  • HDL: 30
  • Triglycerides: 234
  • Non‑HDL: 211
  • Chol/HDL Ratio: 8.0
  • VLDL Cholesterol: 37

Now (23 years old):

  • Total Cholesterol: 183
  • LDL: 128
  • HDL: 28
  • Triglycerides: 152
  • Non‑HDL: 155
  • Chol/HDL Ratio: 6.6
  • VLDL Cholesterol: 27

I still got around 80 more pounds to drop, but seeing this is huge reassurance. A lot are still high, but for the first time in forever, my total cholesterol and VLDL are considered "normal".
