Zomato Nashik – Delivery only moves when you add a tip? Anyone else facing this scam?
I’m attaching my cancelled order screenshot this time as proof.
This has now happened multiple times with me in Nashik.
Whenever I place an order without adding a tip, no rider seems interested. Either no one accepts it, or the rider keeps roaming near the restaurant and never actually delivers the food.
But the moment I add a tip, suddenly the delivery gets picked up quickly.
This time again, I refused to add a tip from the start, and finally had to cancel the order because the rider was just wasting time.
I even told Zomato customer care if your riders are unhappy with pay, then either increase their salary or stop running this poor service in Nashik. Why should customers suffer after already paying full delivery charges?
Are riders silently refusing no-tip orders? Is this happening only in Nashik or everywhere?
If anyone else is facing the same problem, please report it to customer care and ask for a refund. Don’t let your time and money get wasted.
