Hey yall I’m PCSing to Guam soon and I really want to take my Lexus with me. Tuesday I did the alternator cause the oreilly alternator I bought crapped out on me not even a day after I drove on it after it being replaced before I left for bootcamp, and now as I was driving to recruiters office it decided to spawn me a check engine light for the EVAP system it had all the codes so I preemptively bought a new cap from oreillys and as I was backtracking to the alternator situation I did realize I unplugged a few connectors and disconnected a hose to work the alternator in without having to remove the entire fan assembly in the photo above there are 2 hoses near the intake and when I popped the hood and inspected one of the 2 hoses were unplugged and I wonder if that’s why my code decided to pop up if anyone has any insight on what the issue could be please let me know any information will be helpful
