Mid 2026 60k Mile Service Pricing Feedback
Hi All,
Obviously, this question gets asked a lot, but I'm going to ask it anyway with respect to the notable inflation that's occurred over the last few months.
I took my 2022 outback wilderness in for an oil change & tire rotation at 55.5k miles. The dealer (Northern Colorado) in passing reminded me of the 60k services. They quoted the services at:
- Spark plugs - $385 ("4 spark plugs - non turbo") --> Obviously, this isn't going to work...?
- Diff service front & rear - $194.90
- CVT drain & fill - $418.42
- Brake fluid flush - $165.99
Total: ~ $1165
I wasn't planning on doing my 60k service until 65/70k, however, after denying the services, the dealership sent a 25% off on declined services, taking the total to $874. Outside of the higher CVT price and clarification on spark plugs, any recommendations on capitalizing on the $874 (+tax) versus holding off until next year for the service?
TIA!
